Bronze Smokey Eye

This bronze smokey eye is so simple to create and is the perfect look for Autumn.

Or it can be intensified with just a couple of products...

Products used:

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Sante Fe
Benefit Erase Paste
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light
Loreal Brow Artist Super Liner in Blonde 02
Bobbi Brown Longwear Cream Shadow in Beach Bronze 16
Benefit They're Real Mascara
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
MAC Blushcream in Ladyblush
MAC Lipstick in Hue
Real Techniques Expert FaceBrush
Real Techniques Setting Brush
Real Techniques Blush Brush
MAC 239 brush
MAC 217 brush
MAC 168 brush
MAC 116 brush

For the intensified look I added:

MAC Smolder pencil
YSL Shocking Liquid liner
NARS Galapagos eyeshadow

Get the Look:

  1. Apply NARS Sheer Glow Foundation to moisturised skin using the Real Techniques Expert Face brush and really buff the foundation into the skin.
  2. Apply Benefit Erase Paste to dark circles and any blemishes and blend using the Real Techniques setting brush.
  3. Lightly brush Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light over forehead, down the nose and across cheeks using the Real Techniques blush brush.
  4. Brush through brows and lightly fill any gaps with the Loreal brow pencil.
  5. Using a flat eyeshadow brush (MAC 239) apply some Bobbi Brown cream shadow in Beach Bronze all over the lid and stop at the crease. Working quickly, use a blending brush (MAC 217) and blend the eyeshadow using small circular movements all over the lid until the bronze colour is blended and no harsh line appears at the crease.
  6. Lightly brush some more of the bronze colour on your lower lash line and blend using the same blending brush as before.
  7. Curl eyelashes and apply mascara to top and lower lashes.
  8. Using an angled face brush (MAC 168) lightly brush some Benefit Hoola Bronzer to add a slight contour below cheekbones, along the nose, forehead and jawline.
  9. Apply MAC Ladyblush to the apples of the cheeks using fingers or a blush brush (MAC 116 brush).
  10. Apply MAC Hue lipstick
To intensify the look:
  1. Apply MAC smolder pencil to the inner rim of the eye and using a pencil brush or Q tip blend the colour into the lashline
  2. Draw a fine line to the upper lashline using a liquid liner
  3. Using the same blending brush as before, apply some NARS Galapagos eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eye and blend into the crease and into your lower lashline.
  4. You could also add false lashes at this stage if you would like to intensify the look further.
