Smelling Lush

As the weather is turning colder and the nights are drawing in, I have had a strange craving for warming Autumnal scents in the form of pumpkin, cinnamon and other spices.

On a recent shopping trip I walked past Lush and decided to go in and look around. I have never been in a Lush shop before and if anything, during my pregnancies, I would avoid walking past one. Well once inside it was like being in a sweet shop as there was so much choice and every scent you could desire. The staff were very helpful and pointed me in the direction of the spicy scented bath bombs and melts. My basket soon filled up and I was also given a couple of samples to try out.

Here's what I got:

Christmas Hedgehog Bubble Bar - made with organic shea and cocoa butters as well as soothing essential oils.
Wizzard Bubble Bar (Limited Edition) - helps cast a spell over weariness.
Cinders Bath Bomb - a combination of vegan popping candy with stimulating cinnamon leaf oil to recreate the warmth of the hearth.
The Melting Snowman Bath Melt - a comforting Christmas spice-scented bath melt. Made with enriching almond oil and cocoa butter.
Therapy Massage Bar - A 100% organic massage bar to soften the skin and soothe the mind. The perfectly balanced blend of aerated cocoa and shea butters gives a lovely gliding massage and leaves your skin incredibly soft, whilst our carefully chosen blend of three organic essential oils has a powerfully cheering effect. Organic lavender oil balances the skin and relaxes the mind. Neroli oil has been shown to increase serotonin levels in the brain and improves the tone and texture of the skin whilst sweet wild orange oil lifts the mood.
Big Shampoo (sample) - A volumising shampoo made with seaweed and sea salt. While the salt lifts the hair and adds body, it also manages softens the hair alongside extra virgin coconut oil and protein-rich toothed wrack seaweed. Lemon and lime allow the hair to shine as they allow the cuticles on your hair to lie flat, meaning they reflect more light.
Hot Toddy Shower Gel (sample) - With all the spice of a Christmas market, this deep red shimmering shower gel is sure to blow away the bah humbugs. Laced with softening seaweed, fresh ginger, cinnamon leaf oil and cleansing lemon oil, this will warm up even the chilliest of days and bring a sparkle to your shower.

Not bad for a first trip! I am so looking forward to having some long relaxing baths - I think I may be hooked!
